DIF Celebrates Silver Threads Anniversary

01During the celebration the president of DIF, Magaly Ortiz Fregoso, crowned Mrs. Rosario Ramirez, as the new queen of the club.

To celebrate the eighth anniversary of the Elderly Club "Silver Threads" of DIF Puerto Vallarta, ladies and gentlemen met in the group known ballroom of the Villa de Guadalupe colony to enjoy a pleasant fellowship.

Magaly Ortiz Fregoso President congratulated all seniors on the anniversary of the club, while reiterating their interest DIF for the welfare of them and indicated that the purpose of the clubs is that people have an active life through recreational activities, such as regional dance, fitness, singing and craft workshops.

As part of the anniversary, the president of DIF, accompanied by the Deputy Director of Programs, Miguel Angel Soto Barajas and Operational deputy, Homer Barragan made the coronation of the queen of the club, Mrs. Rosario Ramirez, who will participate in the contest Queens of the Spring event will be held on April 12 in the amphitheater of the Arcos del Malecón.

During the celebration was enjoyed the cake, piano music and delicious food, which they shared with young adult clubs older colonies Paso Ancho, Tebelchía and San Esteban.

The Municipal DIF System through the House Elderly Day coordinates the work of 30 seniors clubs established in different colonies of the municipality.
