The Lady Volunteers are already working on fund-raising for the dignity of the Directorate for the Protection of Children, space which houses preventive programs and care for children

Concerned about offering children, youth and women living spaces which enable training, the Voluntary System for Integral Family Development (DIF), chaired by Sara Maria Chavez, continues with the organization of fund-raising events in order to dignify the spaces where these sectors of the population are taken care of.

Proof of this is the success with which the fifth breakfast was conducted which raised around 8000 pesos that were invested in the remodeling project of the Training Center.

The volunteer President of the DIF announced that the upcoming events that are organized for the dignity of the Directorate for the Protection of Children (DPI), an institution that houses the programs focused on the care of Vallarta's children.

"There are many programs handled by this directorate, we believe that they are unprotected because the facilities need renovation, it is a place where Vallarta's children are cared for and we believe they must have decent and pleasant spaces," said Chavez Medina.

For her part, the president of the DIF, Fregoso Magaly Ortiz, handed out a recognition to the Lady Volunteers who selflessly worked for the dignity of the Center for Training and Community Development, located in Colonia Coapinole.

"I want to acknowledge the enthusiasm and commitment that the Lady Volunteers have given, the work they do is important to us and we thank you. They share our concern to provide better spaces for children and are committed to this beautiful work, congratulations to all who selflessly devote time and effort", said the president of DIF Vallarta.

The breakfast that was offered in the restaurant The River Café, brought together a large group of ladies and local government officials.

Among them, recognition was awarded to Sara Maria Chavez, Cecilia Ulloa, Ana Maria Ines Diaz Cibrian Carina Romero, Mary Castañeda Asceneth Vela, Maria de la Luz Jewel, Aurora de la Torre, María José Cuevas Valdez, Gabriela Beltran Gutierrez, Dalia Esther Gomez Virten and Ana Maria Flores.

There was also recognition for Luvia Ramirez Valenzuela Ramona Ortiz, Sara Cardona, Brenda Elizabeth Acosta and Gem Ramos Gómez León.

It should be noted that the next breakfast that will be held by Volunteers is scheduled for September 11th in the hotel Sheraton Buganvilias.
