In order to streamline and raise public awareness, to representatives of the media and officials of various departments of the government of Puerto Vallarta, I taught them,. Meanwhile, Blanca Rosales Arcelia Barron, Jalisco AMBER Alert coordinator, explained that one of the main goals for this year is that in all areas of society, there is already a high degree of awareness of what the AMBER Alert program.

He said Jalisco has a phone number to receive reports of missing persons and is free: 01 (800) 00 854 00 and said that to issue an alert requires three criteria: that people are under 18 of age, who are at imminent risk of serious injury and that there is sufficient information on missing children.

He indicated that to clear an alert, it must locate the child, the child is at risk because of the activation and best interests of the child.

Barron Rosales announced that in the second half of 2013, from July to December, 2000 500 reports of missing children or missing persons were received, however, the Office issued on average only 10 alerts in the state of Jalisco.

Note that Puerto Vallarta is the first municipality in Jalisco to join the AMBER Alert and since 2013 working in the training of the authorities. Currently, in Mexico's 20 states and 10 integrated properly applying the alert without being properly executed.
