Starting this Thursday, the city will be host to the "Whale Camping of Vallarta, February 2014"of the Mexican Community of Nature Photographers, through which close to 20 experts of the lenses of all the country, will capture the natural wealth of this destination, having as a host the nature photographer Eduardo Lugo of the Wildlife Connection group, who will share with them his experience with these cetaceans that yearly visit the bay.
"We brought to Puerto Vallarta a photographic camping of the Mexican Community of Nature Photographers; several of the most important photographers of the country are coming to take a course, they are coming to learn to photograph whales, even though they are already photographers and have published many places, each one has his own specialty and does me the honor of coming so that I can share with them my experience as a whale photographer", commented Eduardo Lugo.
He pointed out that besides photographing these enormous marine mammals, along four days of activity other natural attractions will also be captured such as dolphins, dawns, the splendor of the bay and tropical birds that are characteristic of this region, like the green guacamaya.
Eduardo Lugo indicated that this course is of great importance for the destination, as "generally in the country whales are associated with Baja California and the southern-central part of the country, while the ideal place to photograph whales is Puerto Vallarta, more than going up to Baja California, even though of course each has its own charm, but the most accessible place and which is also a more Mexican town, more typical and all, is Vallarta. Vallarta will always be attractive for many reasons but among them, are the whales and our mountains", and through the lens of these professional photographers, the natural wealth of this port could be made known to other points of the country.
He added that many of the photographers who are confirmed for this camping, make publications in different places and have even published books, which also represents an important opportunity to promote Vallarta.
"For example Daniel Garza is coming who has made the book of the fauna of Coahuila, he is located in Saltillo; or Antonio Pastrana who himself has an editorial and has made many publications for Telmex, for Pemex, for many people, then the fact that they come and record images here will later mean that they will publish them some place and that helps us promote Vallarta", he expressed.
