As part of the International Day of Indigenous Peoples, the City Hall of Puerto Vallarta through the System for Integral Family Development (DIF) developed the Indigenous Festival, where the authorities recognized the value represented by these groups in society.

In this context, the president of DIF Vallarta, Magaly Fregoso Ortiz, congratulated the members of the different ethnic groups for proudly carrying their costumes which represent the cultural wealth of Mexico.

The official confirmed that as authorities they have the commitment of ensuring their rights and of providing what they need so that they can move forward with their families.

Through the direction of Social Development, the donations are channeled to indigenous groups and work is done closely in coordination with the Indigenous Groups of DIF Vallarta.
