The costumes and performances attracted tourists
Puerto Vallarta once again celebrates its traditional and colorful Day of the Dead parade, where thousands of locals and tourists arrived very early in the morning to take their place to see and take pictures of the catrina representations for the celebration of the Day of the Dead, as well as municipal authorities headed by Mayor Luis Michel and authorities from the three levels of government, who were present.
The parade was made up of different groups.
The first contingent was formed by Scout Group One, with its beautiful catrina in front, followed by children and young people wearing their allusive costumes, to give way then to the catrina of the CECyTEJ Ixtapa school, accompanied by a group of students showing their enthusiasm with their painted faces and typical regional costumes representative of different states.
The 5 de Diciembre neighborhood also participated in this parade with its allegorical float and a group of neighbors from this emblematic area who did the same, with their costumes and faces representing death.
COMPANIES JOINED IN
Some companies and institutions also joined the Day of the Dead parade, such as AMSTAR Puerto Vallarta, ARKOS University, Lukumbé Restaurant, San José Funeral Home, not to mention the Deaf Culture contingent.
One of the most attractive contingents that closed the parade was undoubtedly that of the charros, led by the skirmish Las Costeñitas of Puerto Vallarta, with their colorful and colorful costumes, hats and flower crowns, as well as the charro groups of the different associations of the municipality, with their horses also characterizing death on their faces and bodies.
