The municipal government assembled a structure in the shape of a 23 meter high catrina with which it seeks to beat the Guinness record of the tallest catrina in the world.

Last Friday, the government of the municipality of Puerto Vallarta informed that the designer of this monumental catrina was Alondra Muca. Photos of the large structure located in the lighthouse area of the Malecon were disseminated on social networks.
Tourists and locals took pictures with the catrina, with its imposing gigantic image.
It is worth mentioning that this weekend tourists from all over the world were there, so the image has spread worldwide.
The municipal president of Puerto Vallarta, Luis Alberto Michel Rodríguez, inaugurated the Day of the Dead Festival 2022 at the local boardwalk.
During the event, the mayor led the lighting of the enormous Catrina, a character that has been gaining strength in this tradition in our country.
