Municipal Take DIF program 'Good Deal' for colonies of Puerto Vallarta

The welfare agency promotes good treatment between local families to encourage actions that give respect, affection and love among its members.

In order to sensitize and guide in the development and practice of skills, the System for Integral Family Development (DIF) of Puerto Vallarta, chaired by Fregoso Magaly Ortiz leads the 'Good Deal' program to the various colonies of the municipality .

Edgar Corrales, coordinator PREVERP (Prevention Program Psychosocial Risks), announced that the 'good treatment' refers to the practices and relationships of love and respect they have for himself and others for girls, boys and adolescents happier, creative and most likely to get along better with their parents, siblings, grandparents, friends and all people with whom we live.

He stressed that the family last November rally of good treatment strategy that today is already bearing fruit in colonies as Morelos y Pavón, I Brisas, Brisas II, Volcanoes, and Tamarind Coapinole was organized.

"Raise awareness, encourage and guide the development and practice of skills 'good deal' is the goal of this new program of DIF," said Corrales.

The work is done by the service providers José Luis Campos, Samantha Orozco, Ruth Núñez, Ivette García Zúñiga and Monserrat, who are responsible for providing weekly sessions in the colonies

PREVERP 'moves' the colonies

Prevention Program of Psychosocial Risk (PREVERP) began in January visiting new colonies in order to prevent and retard substance use among girls, children and adolescents in the municipality through preventive sessions, recreational activities and recreation, and promoting healthy lifestyles.

Currently this scheme meets the Salitrillo, Brisas I, Jardines de la Higuera, Villas Rio, Morelos y Pavon and Ocean View colonies, with the possibility to grow coverage in the town.
