Sinergiarte, the annual San Pancho art festival organized every December by Colectivo San Pancho (their art collective) has launched a fundraising campaign to ensure that their upcoming festival will take place successfully. This year’s event will take place December 20 - 28.
Now in its 9th year, the event has evolved into an important multidisciplinary festival, live music, dance and theater performances, visual art exhibitions and much more.
What makes their efforts unique is that this year, Sinergiarte relies on Fondeadora, one of several websites used by artists and entrepreneurs to raise funds for their projects. In this fashion, organizers are hoping to raise at least $150,000 pesos to make the event possible. Several funding options are available, ranging from $50 to $20,000 pesos, allowing just about everyone to make a financial contribution.
