We are planning on visiting nine bars that are all located within easy walking distance in “The Southside” also known as “The Romantic Zone”. Our plan is to spend 45 minutes in each place starting at 1:00 in the afternoon. With this many stops, maybe we should call it “A One And Done Tour”!
We will have to pace ourselves! This is a great way to meet new people and have a chance to maybe see places that you would not normally see. There is no charge except paying for your drinks and food. I will list the Bars, times, and known specials below:
1-Twisted Palms-Start at 1:00 pm until 1:45. Al has offered to open early to accommodate our crawl and has offered Happy Hour prices which is 50 Peso Martinis and 25 Peso Pacifico and Corona!
2-Pour Favor-From 1:45 to 2:30
3-Anejo Limon-From 2:30 to 3:15. Bruce’s new place and he has offered drink and snack specials. We are uncertain what they are at this time, but knowing Bruce, I’m sure they will be good.
4-Nacho Daddy’s-From 3:15 to 4:00.
5-Los Muertos Brewing Company-From 4:00 to 4:45. And it just happens that “Hoppy Hour” starts at 4:00 so we can get house pints of their fantastic selections of home brew for 25 Pesos!
6-Por K No?-From 4:45 to 5:30. Not sure what the specials will be but we have JR’s word that we will be treated right!
7-Gringo Loco-From 5:30 to 6:15.
8- Lori’s La Escondida’s Sports Bar-From 6:15 to 7:00
9-Que Pasa-7:00 pm till whenever.
As we learn of more specials, we will post them. All of the bars treated us very well last year and we are looking forward to visiting them all again! We had about 50 participants last year for our “Crawl”. Let’s see if we can top that this year! Everyone is welcome to join in the fun. Feel free to post with any questions or comments and of course to tell us if you will be joining us. That way we can keep track of how many people are coming!
