Children from the Course "Prevention in Motion" learned the importance of Caring for Animals

The children participating in the summer course "Prevention in Motion" of the Commissary of Municipal Highways and Preventive Police, visited this week the Zoo of Vallarta, to look at the different species that live there, such as llamas, giraffes, monkeys, tigers and flamingos, among others.

The guided tour had the goal of making the infants aware of the importance of caring for wild animals as well as the flora of the region, for which motive, the 120 children who make up the group, learned about the care of each of the species, how they live and where they are from. They were also able to feed and have a souvenir photograph taken with them.

Some expressed their joy for participating in this visit and were surprised to see the actual size of the giraffes, but what struck them the most were the lions and tigers for their stunning looks.

For all the children it has been a positive experience to be involved in the summer school "Prevention in Motion", because not only have they learned to care and have discipline, but also they have had the experience of boarding a ship and a helicopter of Mexico's Navy Marines, of feeding animals at the zoo and of learning crafts and games.
