"Amigas Desgraciadas" at Teatro Tercera Llamada
The drag theater play "Amigas Desgraciadas" will have a new season in a new theater for the group that produces it: Tercera Llamada. The renowned local theater group, Dionisio, promises that these new dates will bring a fresh air and several surprises during their three special dates in July.
"LAST YEAR'S SEASON WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL, BUT WE COULDN'T EXTEND IT DUE TO PREVIOUS COMMITMENTS. SO WE DECIDED TO RETURN THIS YEAR AND PREPARE SOME SURPRISES FOR YOU," SAYS JUAN CARLOS RAMÍREZ, DIRECTOR AND ACTOR OF THIS COMEDY WRITTEN BY ARGENTINIAN HUGO D. MARCOS.
"Amigas Desgraciadas" revolves around five friends who gather weekly to play cards, but this time, one of them arrives with a scandalous event that will trigger a series of shocking secrets. Without a doubt, the audience will be immersed in a hilarious and tangled universe of confidences and comic situations.
"THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE WILL BE WORKING AT TERCERA LLAMADA, A TRADITIONAL PLACE FOR THE LOCAL AUDIENCE WHO ENJOY SEEING PERFORMING ARTS. AND WE ARE VERY HAPPY BECAUSE THEY HAVE WELCOMED US WITH OPEN ARMS AND ALL THE WILLINGNESS TO HAVE A GREAT SEASON," SAYS JUAN PABLO HERNÁNDEZ, WHO PLAYS ROSA IN THE STORY.
The rest of the cast consists of talented actors from Vallarta, Christian Velasco, César Bravo, and Vilchis Joya. Meanwhile, Samantha Dueñas, Oliver Michelena, and Cindy Jazmín are part of the creative and technical team that makes this staging possible.
