In front of the Curro and Luz Mural, the mothers shared their stories.

Two years after losing their beloved children, the mothers of Curro and Luz came together to pay homage to their lives, holding onto the faint hope of reuniting with them, accompanied by other parents who are also searching for their missing children.

On the past Saturday, July 29th, the tribute took place on Isla del Río Cuale, right in front of the mural that the great visual artist, Josué Reyes, painted in honor of Curro and Luz, who disappeared during the storm that struck Río Cuale two years ago and took away Luz's car and the building where Curro was located.

Even though the chances of finding their children are merely 3%, Luz's mother affirms that it is thanks to that 3% that she can find the strength to carry on. This powerful statement reveals the profound love a mother has for her children.

In a solemn ceremony, a healer purified the area using a "singing bowl" and transmuted the energy, creating a spiritual atmosphere. Then, Curro's mother delivered a heartfelt speech filled with love for her son, followed by Luz's mother who expressed her gratitude to the mural artist, who explained his artwork in detail.

Finally, the leader and spokesperson of the group of searching mothers gave a final expression of gratitude to the attendees, making it clear that they will not cease their quest to find their children, even if there is only a 1% chance of being able to see them again.
