The "Sturgeon" Moon

As August begins, so does the lunar cycle of the "Sturgeon" Moon, when the Moon appears as an incredibly large celestial body with its energetic influence and majestic beauty dominating the night sky, surpassing all other celestial objects.

This phenomenon, known as the "Sturgeon" Moon, is actually just a very large Full Moon, starting on August 1st and continuing throughout the lunar fortnight. The name of this event comes from the indigenous people of the Great Lakes region between the USA and Canada, who named it after the abundance of sturgeons during this time.

Despite the cloudy days, the Super Moon could still be appreciated due to its immense size and brightness, standing out beautifully in the nights of Puerto Vallarta. But beyond its visual appeal, this Moon's force reaches living beings, providing them with the necessary energy to embrace the passion for life.

The peak of its strength occurred on August 1st at 2 pm; however, it was challenging to observe during the day. Since then, Puerto Vallarta has been adorned with the nocturnal presence of the Sturgeon Moon, delighting all those who gaze upon the starry nights.

Throughout this month, the moons will continue to be exceptionally large, surprising many. As part of the Moon's natural cycle, we will soon witness a waning Moon, bringing a sense of calmness to the sensitive beings influenced by it, allowing them to breathe, relax, and live with greater tranquility.
