Women heads of households are trained and supported

"In Jalisco they are fighting women, dedicated women who stop at nothing, but they are given the support, tools are provided, they can then find a full development in this community," said the Governor of the State of Jalisco, Jorge Aristóteles Sandoval Díaz, when providing resources to female heads of households and inaugurating the training session for them at Casa Jalisco.

The training that the beneficiaries of this program will receive is focused on integrating into the labor market so that they can raise their family. The Governor took the opportunity to mention the 200 women that are currently trained to be traffic agents, who are going to be responsible for arresting people who drive while drunk at night, "because we know that women have always been synonymous of income, work, honesty, loyalty and above all, are never going to bow to anything or anyone".

On the issue of gender violence, he recalled that 40 percent of Jalisco has suffered some form of aggression, therefore he reaffirmed his commitment to promoting comprehensive justice to protect women of the entity.
