More than 6 thousand families have benefited through the brigade Helping You Moves Us (Ayudarte nos Mueve), with the services offered by the System for Integral Family Development (DIF) of Puerto Vallarta, as it was announced by the president of the assistance agency, Magaly Fregoso Ortiz.
In this way, more than 35 colonies have been visited, where they offer more than 30 services free of charge, of which the most popular are social work, haircuts, psychology, nutrition and legal services.
In her message, the president of the Municipal DIF stressed that the priority is to bring the services free of charge to the most vulnerable, but mostly address the truly urgent cases.
This Tuesday, the brigade visited the colony Niños Héroes of the delegation Ixtapa, where dozens of people were cared for and were given a quality service in a warm manner from the staff of the institution.
According to the coordinator of Helping You Moves Us, Juan Pablo Vasquez, the next brigade will be on Tuesday October first in the main square of the colony Loma Bonita.
Besides the services of the DIF system, the Animal Collection Center for pet vaccinations, the City Council against AIDS (Comusida), the Municipal Council for Disability (Comudis) and staff of the Ministry of Health are attending, and through lectures they will guide the general public about preventive care.
