Culinary Experiences for Groups –Puerto Vallarta Gourmet Festival

I recently attended preliminary events before the opening of Puerto Vallarta’s 20th International Gourmet Festival .

More than 58 world renown chefs and local participated, fifteen restaurants out of fifteen of the best Hotels in Puerto Vallarta. Chefs offered a la carte gourmet dining, chef’s table and winemaker’s nights, gourmet safaris, cheese, beer and chocolate tastings, and brunch buffets at restaurants in Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit and Tepic. Cooking demonstration were also part of the program for those interested in learning more about the latest cooking styles and techniques.

Puerto Vallarta is a great destination full of culture through its delicious and intricate cuisine, rich history and stunning architecture.

More and more International Gourmet Festivals are popping up around the world like Madrid Fusion. These festivals bring together great Chefs, offer an opportunity for aficionados and professionals to learn new techniques and experience new trends.

I had the pleasure to connect with Jesus Gibaja, a very popular TV chef host with Unicable, Televisa and Fox. His different shows have been seen in Mexico, U.S. Spain and Latinamerica. It was great to experince his approach to Mexican cousine is very contemporary but definitely conserving the Mexican inluence, luckily I had the opportunity to try some of his new creations for the show.

For this event Jesus Gibaja, was the Invited Chef at La Corona restaurant ant the All Incluisve Villa Premiere Hotel & Spa, where I was staying.

This beautiful four AAA diamond property was really convenient to Puerto Vallarta’s downtown and all the attractions there, it is not on the main avenue, so you get a very secluded experience, right by the beach. I really loved this property and recommended, the rooms, first class service and many amenities including a pillow menu, this in addition of the superb dining options made this Puerto Vallarta experience one to recommend.
