The Citelum company, carried out this Monday the change of the 26 lights that conform the pedestrian path of the pier to offer a better illumination and security to those who visit this zone, works that were supervised by the general director of Infrastructure and Municipal Services, Oscar Delgado Chávez and by representatives of the company.

In this regard the municipal civil servant explained that “these lamps of three direct lights that only indicated the path are being changed for a new technology of Citelum, which is a cosmópolis lamp”.

He explained that this type of lamps have a system that combines a metallic additive with sodium steam, which generates a white light that will have an illumination radius of 32 meters of circumference, which will allow to recover the illumination that was missing in the pedestrian zone.

THE TESTS

He detailed that in between Monday and Tuesday, Citelum will carry out calibration tests with the new lamps, “these two days we are going to do tests to see how the zone is adapting to this type of illumination, as before it was very tenuous, but with these we are going to have a considerable change in the illumination approach”.

Finally he pointed out that these actions, form part of the project that the municipal government chaired by Ramón Guerrero Martínez, has in consideration to improve the lighting of the pedestrian area, as well as of the monuments and gardens.
