The National Commission of Water (Conagua) alerted that in the next hours the first winter storm of the season will come to the country.

Such meteorological phenomenon, derived from a system of low pressure associated with very cold air, will cause wind in Baja California, Sonora and Chihuahua, as well as a marked temperature descent and moderate to strong rains in the northwest part of the country.

“There is the possibility of the fall of sleet or snow in high zones of Baja California, particularly in La Rumorosa, which could extend to the northern sierra of Chihuahua and Coahuila during Friday 22 and Saturday 23″, added the report.
