In order so that the Preventive Police officers know the procedures and criminal liability in which they may incur by failing to conduct the proper implementation of the Chain of Custody in a crime scene, the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences trains them on the matter, since in most cases, the preventive police is the authority that has the first contact with the crime scene.

These types of courses are part of the coordinated work performed between the Station of Preventive Police and Traffic of Puerto Vallarta and the institutions of the three levels of government, to ensure the correct application of the procedures when a criminal act is registered.

It is worth noting that the chain of custody seeks to preserve in its original site, each of the indicia or evidence to help reconstruct what happened and determine the historical truth of the facts.

Finally Pérez Martínez said that there are already four more dates scheduled for giving the same course to the rest of the police troops, and then they would continue with other courses on the subject but in another of the broad topics that are covered.
