Perched in a welcoming home over Banderas Bay, Miriam’s Mexican Kitchen is not only a space for passionate foodies to learn how to cook like they grew up here, it also boasts a breathtaking balcony for savoring each course as the sunset glistens off the sea.

Delight in 5 Delicious Courses

As for what’s in store, four distinctly themed menus rotate each month. Classes are structured to make you feel like the guest you are, welcomed with warm introductions and a tutorial on how to make the perfect margarita. From there, you’ll start grinding out courses on the mortar and pestle, chopping herbs, and charring chiles for menus featuring bites like:

About the Chef

Chef Miriam Flores’ love for cooking is rooted in her Grandmother’s kitchen. Growing up without electricity in a village not far from Puerto Vallarta, cooking alongside her culinary hero forged a deep appreciation for local ingredients, from the farm to the sea. Over the years, her discipline took her to Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Portland, followed by kitchens across Europe. The result is a truly unique marriage of traditional Mexican cooking and gourmet techniques she loves sharing with foodies from around the world.

Miriam’s Mexican Kitchen (formerly La Luna) is located at Carretera Barra de Navidad 864 in Conchas Chinas. Classes are Monday-Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 pm.
