We invite you to participate in our First Annual Early Bird Breakfast for Vallarta Bird Conservancy on Monday November 17, 2014. We'll be expecting you at 8:00 am at The River Café.
Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay regions are known to enjoy a vast diversity of birds, both endemic migratory and resident species. At least 30 endemics and up to 400 species can be found in the different habitats and ecosystems such as: mangroves, coastal lagoons, wetlands, tropical forests, jungles, tropical deciduous forests, thorn forests, pine and oaks forests, tropical ecotones, and pine evergreen forests.
Along with Canada and the U.S. we share the northern part of our continent, and together we can preserve our common wealth.
Our mission is to promote conservation, education and knowledge of tropical and migratory birds in Puerto Vallarta, Banderas Bay and the areas of Cabo Corrientes in Jalisco, Mexico to the benefit of residents and visitors from around the world.
To accomplish our mission, the Vallarta Bird Conservancy (VBC): we make the Annual Vallarta Bird Festival in March, Annual Bird Day in May, Annual Puerto Vallarta Audubon Christmas Bird Count, Education for conservation, scholarships, promotion and interchange for knowledge between countries. While enjoying this wealth of wildlife also comes a commitment to protect and preserve them.
Pick up your tickets at the River Cafe or telephone for delivery at (322) 128-0120. Tickets are 200 pesos or students are welcome for 150 pesos.
The River Cafe is located just off the Vallarta Street Bridge that separates Downtown and Old Town Vallarta.
