Mariachi Gala & Charro Tournament

The events will be witnessed by thousands of locals, tourists and expats from Vallarta Nayarit and abroad. It will be a heady mix of music and rodeo with adrenaline pulsing action to keep you on the edge of your seats.  May is a busy month for Puerto Vallarta as a series of events and festivals are lined up.

As in the past this year’s events (Mariachi Gala & Charro Tournament) will also support charities such as the Vallarta South Rotary Club’s eye surgeries for needy children program and the Mexican Red Cross. The organizers are hoping the the lovers of Mexico and its culture will open their heart and purses during the event to help the charities, spurred by beautiful music and action packed Charro tournament.

A part of the proceedings from ticket sales will be donated to Puerto Vallarta South Rotary Club and Cruz Roja Mexicana altruistic programs so that the less fortunate sections of our society can be helped.

An opening ceremony and music by Mariachi Real de America will kick off the weekend on Friday, May 30 starting at 3:30 pm.

The 2014 Gala de Mariachis y Torneo Nacional Charro will be held at Arena Vallarta, an ultra-modern facility that comprises of 10 acres in the town of El Colorado. The handicap accessible arena boasts seating for 5 thousand spectators, public rest rooms, a 600 car parking lot, a commercial area, and stables for the horses. Donation entry fee is $100 pesos for adults, children are free. You won't want to miss this!
