“Dolphin Discovery” Celebrates its 19th Anniversary

“Dolphin Discovery” celebrates its 19th anniversary, the group of dolphin aquariums with the biggest interactive program of the world, presents its novelties in Aquaventuras Park and the 12 centers that it has in the country.

In this regard, Mario Domíguez, general manager of the group in Riviera Nayarit pointed out that to celebrate this event, the 13 locations which the present group has, will carry out different activities and promotions, this with the purpose to celebrate with its visitors “another year of fulfilled dreams”.

For which in this occasion “Aquaventuras Park by Dolphin Discovery” will not be the exception and it announced before the local media the results of the successful reproduction program under designated human care “Miracle”.

In this sense, he clarified that as a result of this program, the birth of 82 marine mammals of first and second generation has been attained, this is 66 dolphins, 12 marine wolves and 4 manatees.

“Thanks to this, the opening of 4 dolphin aquariums was made: Miracle, Dolphin Cozumel, Dolphin Dreams, Dolphin Palace and Dolphin Playa del Carmen, this in between 2012 and 2013, and this means that they exclusively lodge dolphins that have been born inside this program.

In this meeting, Aquaventuras Park shared the origin, growth and pride to belong to the Dolphin Discovery group, since all the dolphin aquariums that it operates fulfill the norms and international certifications, surpassing the quality standards both in installations and in animal care and training techniques.

“The certifications like the one of AMMPA (Alliance of Marine Mammals Parks and Aquariums), having the ability to swim with the dolphins and the interaction with marine wolves in an aquatic park, the offer of slides and pools, as well as the location of the park very near of world class tourist destinations, like Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, are some of the characteristics that make us different”, he concluded.
