'Tattoos 4 Food' Manages to Raise Nearly 30 thousand pesos for the Foster Home Máximo Cornejo

Classified as the first event of its kind in Puerto Vallarta, Tattoos 4 Food on Saturday grossed over 29 thousand dollars in kind for the foster home Máximo Cornejo.

The event started at 9 am in the studio Vallarta Ink, where eight tattoo artists, served people that attended to get a tattoo and in exchange donated nonperishable food, cleaning supplies and diapers. The last tattoo was finished at 10pm.

José Sanjuan, one of the organizers said that this first edition was a turning point to continue with similar events each year to support various associations.

"It is the first time in the history of Vallarta that an event like this is made, but we had friends who came from Guadalajara, Tepic, San Luis Potosi, Monterrey, and we know that we will do it again next year," said Sanjuan.

After the event a party was held which had a cost of 30 pesos, with which fruit and vegetables were bought for the foster home.
