Russian Reality Show is being Filmed in the Riviera Nayarit

Russian-Reality-in-Riviera-NayaritSince the past June 1st, a Russian reality show called “Súper Juego Vacaciones en México” is being transmitted through the network KVM-Friday, while it is being filmed in the Riviera Nayarit.

The program is completely produced by the t.v. station, which chose with complete independence La Cruz de Huanacaxtle as its headquarters and filming set. In the first seven episodes one can observe that many images have been taken in the Marina of the Nayarit Riviera and that the house where the competitors are housed is a villa in a luxurious development of that town.

The truth is that it has surprised us to see ourselves in the Russian television, we didn't expect it. We realized that this was happening when two of the main characters of the reality show started twitting from La Cruz de Huanacaxtle on Saturday June 8th, in the Russian language. When we saw their profiles, which have thousands of followers, we were able to realize that they participated in this reality, explains Marc Murphy, director of the Visitor and Conventions office of the Riviera Nayarit.

The channel, which promotes itself under the slogan "Every day is friday" and is a succesor of the MTV tradition of that country, is geared toward the young audience and includes in its programming shows about fashion, health, sports, entertainment, adventure and cuisine.

“This news not only seems important to us for its meaning in terms of promotion but because the destination has been selected with complete independence, without asking for support. It is the beauty of the treasure of the Mexican Pacific, the quality of the installations as well as the Marina of the Nayarit Riviera which recurrently appears in the series, that is putting us on the map even for countries as distant as Russia", pointed out Rafael Alcantara, Harbor Master.
