Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit announce the Seventh Edition of the "Vallarta Wine Fest Jalisco & Nayarit 2013," to take place from March 18-24.
At this festival, attendees can enjoy the best of gastronomy and wine from the region.
It's a party, it's a gastronomic event, it's a social event, it's a cultural event.
In previous editions, there was participation of around 21 restaurants.
For this year, the number will increase and will aim at the promotion of the culture of wine.
Attendees, national and international, can enjoy not only the cuisine of Banderas Bay, but also the different cultural events where there will be poetry, dance and music.
Wine Fest 2013 Comes to Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit
The seventh annual Wine Fest will be held in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit on Monday 18 through March 24, a festival that has become one of the most important holidays of Vallarta for its content and nature..
The festival is done in appreciation to all the tourists who are in Vallarta during the peak season, and that presents the festival as a possibility of not only sun and beaches, but as an opportunity to enjoy cultural events, art, entertainment and above all, the possibility of finding something new in Vallarta.
For the locals, it is is the opportunity to come into contact with the wine culture in countless festivals, wine tastings, lectures, talks and outreach and to enjoy a wonderful event. The festival is held in the park Lazaro Cardenas Sunday March 24 from 6:00 pm, also a grand finale, where walking, dancing, entertainment, wine and dishes tasting specially prepared by participating restaurants.
The special theme is "The world's most noble wines" so in all participating restaurants will promote a card at special prices.
On Saturday 23 will be for the third time an event never before seen in our area, the Expovino, where free tasting of over 100 wines submitted by their 
own manufacturers and importers, will also exhibit cheeses, meats and breads, an event very happy and very interesting, unlike anything that has occurred in our region. The group Centenarians, will perform a concert harp virtuoso, on the boardwalk on Friday 22 at 8:30 pm.
The slogan of the festival is "Culture is celebrating". What is different is that all events are free, if you intend to, promote Vallarta, offering tourists the possibility of culture and fun and new alternatives for Vallartenses.
The organizing committee consists of Nacho Cadena, Luis Reyes Brambila, Luis Angarita, Agustin Rodriguez and the hosts of the event are the participating restaurants.
