As part of a series of strategies that have been developed to boost tourism in downtown Puerto Vallarta, Luis Angarita Mayorga, Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the Convention and Visitors Bureau, Carlos Gerard Guzman, Director of the Municipal Tourism Office have completed a new initiative to promote the sculptures on the Malecon.
On each sculpture, a decal has been placed with the name of the work, its artist, the year it was unveiled and a QR code that mobile device users can scan to access the official tourism website of Puerto Vallarta, VisitPuertoVallarta.com.
