aninospvWith every intention of bringing joy to the underprivileged children of the region comprising the Bay of Banderas,

on Jan. 7 at a very early hour, dozens of volunteers from the American community and civil society,the personal Navy of Mexico and Casa Magna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, gathered in the hotel's facilities to hand out more than 8,500 toys in the various vehicles that were transported to effect delivery thereof.

Thousands of balloons, stuffed animals and dolls were divided into 8 different routes covering from Cabo Corrientes, El Tuito, Boca de Tomatlan, Mismaloya, Las Palmas del Progreso, El Progreso Los volcanes, Mojoneras, Magisterio, Loma Bonita, Joyas del Pedregal, La Floresta, Brisas del Pacifico, Soyatán, whole mountains to San Sebastian, Real Alto, Zancudo, Colorado, Valle Verde, Mezcalitos, Laguna, Tondoroque, Higuera Blanca to Sayulita, Guamuchil, San Quentin, San Ignacio, La Penita, El Colomo, La Ceiba, El Carrizo, Los Sauces and Aguamilpa.

The roads and trails in poor condition did not prevent volunteers to reach more distant populations to bring toys to the children, who greeted the volunteers with smiling faces and excitement.The children were excited to see vehicles loaded with toys coming to their community, as for many of them this is the only toy they will receive during the year. Samples of affection from family and teachers, as well as many smiles and cheers from children to Toys for Tots to continue working for a happy childhood in Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay.

This traditional event is a success thanks to sponsors like Casa Magna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, who every year donate 100% of the galas dinner donations for Toys for Tots.The Field Vista Vallarta golf also donate and coordinate the Navy League Golf tournement.Along with ATM Rivercity sponsers.
