Peña Nieto Congratulates Mexican Journalists

MEXICO CITY, Mexico, Jan. 4, 2013. - This Friday, as part of the national day of the journalist, the president of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto , congratulated the members of the union who work with objectivity and professionalism.

In his account of Twitter , the president wrote, "Today we celebrate in Mexico Journalists Day. Congratulations to those who exercise this valuable work with objectivity and professionalism."

This Jan. 4 in Mexico is celebrated Journalists' Day in honor of Manuel Caballero considered the first journalist? Modern? in the country's history, died on this day but in 1826.
