For the past 10 years under the leadership of the Puerto Vallarta Navy League,
Coldwell Banker La Costa together with our loyal customers, have provided tremendous support to the annual Toys-4-Tots fundraising campaign in Puerto Vallarta. Through the tireless work of many dedicated volunteers there have been over 100,000 toys distributed to needy and impoverished children throughout the area. The children are aged from kindergarten up to grade 6. For many of these children this will be the only toy of any kind that they will receive for the Holidays. The toys will be distributed by Navy League Members and Friends directly to over 100 schools on three Kings Day, January 6th.
In addition to the toy distribution program, the Toys-4-Tots campaign has also completed the construction and equipping of 6 different local children’s playgrounds over the past several years - including 2 at the regional penitentiary which have been a huge hit for the visiting children of inmates.
This coming weekend the Annual Toys-4-Tots Charity Golf Tournament starts at 9AM Saturday, December 8th at the Las Vistas Golf Course followed by an Awards Banquet at the Marriot Hotel December 9th. Both of the events are the centerpieces of the local effort and are always great fun. This year, it is our goal at Coldwell Banker La Costa is to raise US$10,000 - and with everyone's help we are optimistic that we will be able to meet this objective! No matter how large or modest your contribution, be assured that it will be gratefully and graciously received - with all funds going to the kids. There are no expenses or fees involved of any kind, so you can be assured that 100% of your money is going exactly where it’s supposed to be going.
