With a renewed formal commitment to making all the efforts that are necessary to maintain the unit in the hotel sector and work together in business, commercial and restaurant businessman, protest last night took the officers of the Association of Hotels and Motels in Puerto Vallarta, which is headed by Ignacio Chain Beraud, for a further period of one year.

We restarted, said the hotelier before a select audience gathered in the beautiful Hacienda de Los Santos in Marina Vallarta, full of desire, of substance, of authenticity and commitment; and he added: "we are all Vallarta and today we are celebrating in this meeting with friends the beginning of a new council for the development and improvement of Puerto Vallarta".

The president of the hoteliers in the city appreciated the presence of the secretary-general of the Government of Jalisco, Arturo Zamora Jimenez, asked him to tell the governor that "the hoteliers and tourim are letting him know that they can't wait for that level of tourism that we had come back". And thanked him for not only the works that the state government is doing in the city "but the affection he felt as a governor on this port".

Assured that it will have to strengthen the promotion in the different markets, especially in the most representative, so we can return to the levels of tourism that has had in previous years, "the resurgence of Puerto Vallarta is a work of all, not only of the hoteliers, restaurateurs, taxi drivers, this includes even the housewives that with the cleanliness of their benches and facades give charisma to Puerto Vallarta".

To his fellow leaders of associations and chambers of commerce, asked them to make the team for Vallarta, "I have to say that the hotel we are with you and open to the propositions, also to the criticism and to the comments and the possibility to undertake joint projects that we can lead to a better success hotelier, restaurant businessman and commercial, which will benefit all those who live in this paradise".

The members of the new board are: Ignacio Chain Beraud, president, Enrique Carothers Barreto, Commissioner; Ricardo Bulnes, secretary; Gerardo Silveti, treasurer; and the trustees María José Zorrilla Alcalá, Liny Cornejo, Marcelo Alcaraz, Felipe Rangel, Mauricio Martínez, Rodolfo Pacheco, Demetrio Mature, Eduardo Ballesteros, Luis Rodriguez and Antonio Robles.
