sismoMEXICO CITY (22/SEP/2012.) - This morning, at 7:29 pm, an earthquake of magnitude 5.4 on the Richter scale shook the city of Mexico. The National Seismological Service reported that the epicenter was in Oaxaca.

Through his Twitter account (@ m_ebrard), the head of city government, Marcelo Ebrard, reported that during the first review after the quake were not detected serious affectations.

The head of the Department of Protection of the Federal District, Elias Miguel Moreno Brizuela, white balance reported after the first checks were conducted in major strategic areas of the capital.

He said that in some regions of Mexico City, "was hardly noticeable" and colonies as La Roma and La Condesa was more the quake, so stressed that the agency in charge will continue to work in monitoring damage .
