Several prizes were awarded to the winners. The 66th International Marlin and Tuna Fishing Tournament, organized by the Puerto Vallarta Fishing Club, was one of the events with the highest number of attendees, in addition to the number of boats and the nearly 200 participants, who joined in the capture of this species, as well as the boats that competed for the capture and release of the selfish, this species that they want to conserve since it has been affected by its capture.

The tournament managed to concentrate most of the foreigners, mostly Americans and Canadians who joined the competition.

The celebration of the tournament took place at the Marina Vallarta, where the boats that obtained the first three places received their prizes.

There were a total of 200 participants in different boats, who achieved a good amount of catches in the different species such as Marlin, Tuna, Mahi-Mahi-Mahi.
When the boats arrived at the dock in the Marina, the spectators shouted with excitement, each one arrived with their prey, hoping to have captured the largest specimen of the participating species: Marlin, Tuna, Dorado, and Sailfish that entered the Catch and Release modality, as a way to support the conservation of the species.

It is worth mentioning that this tournament was able to gather many people in Marina Vallarta, a great number of which were foreigners, North Americans, Canadians and Vallartenses, without a doubt one of the favorite tournaments for people who like this sport.
