In that area, Velazquez Navarro said that it was a pleasant surprise to receive this news and was grateful for the confidence that the parastatal managers gave him, he considered this fact essential to achieve this award for technological innovation.

Likewise, he explained that with the winning proposal the biological oxidation ditches in the North II Wastewater Treatment Plant are being rehabilitated, with the advantages that you do not need people from other organisms for its operation and only national materials are used.

He also recalled that in the analyzes that have been done of the project, the efficiency of the system is demonstrated compared to the previous, besides getting treated wastewater with better quality, which can be used for irrigation by direct contact.

The Organizing Committee reported that it will prepare a series of follow-up activities with the winners for the purposes of reinforcement and feedback, among which include the official awards during the week of the XXVII Annual Convention and Expo of the National Association of Water and Sanitation of Mexico (ANEAS) in Acapulco, Guerrero.
