The all-inclusive Hard Rock hotels in Cancun, Riviera Nayarit and the Riviera Maya as well as the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, are reporting success with WOW, the Weddings on the Water travel agent specialist program launched last fall.
“With WOW, we have created an educational platform that arms our destination wedding travel partners with the tools needed to sell our Hard Rock Hotels and the Colin Cowie Wedding Collection to clients seeking the ultimate all-inclusive destination wedding and honeymoon,” said Frank Maduro, vice president of marketing.
More than 80 agents are enrolled in the program.
Agents who participate in WOW events are automatically enrolled in the specialist program, which offers a number of features, including a $300 voucher for attending WOW events and seminars; choice of a car wrap, tradeshow display or storefront window display; customized marketing material; monthly product webinars; and bridal show co-op opportunities.
“The all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels’ WOW program is the most thorough industry training I’ve experienced. It provides essential information that we as romance travel specialists need in a way that will truly set us apart from other agents,” said Brenda Washington-O’Neale, with With This Ring destination wedding and honeymoon agency in Homestead, Pa.
The next on-site WOW event is set for Sept. 25 to 28 at Hard Rock’s Punta Cana resort.
The event includes industry presentations, social media insight and a keynote address by event designer Colin Cowie, whose wedding and honeymoon collections are offered exclusively at Hard Rock’s properties in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
