Rafa González Announced: The second child legislator will be chosen in Ixtapa

The program has woken up the interest in the children and it is a learning motivation for them

It's aim is to stimulate the good students, mainly the children of sixth grade who have the best averages of the public schools of the 14 municipalities of the 5th District

Puerto Vallarta Jalisco News.- During November in the Ixtapa Delegation, the second Legislator Child will be selected, who will travel to Mexico City the first week of December, in company of one of his parents to get to know the Deputy Chamber, so informed the Federal Deputy Rafa González.

He explained that when Sergio Alfredo Chávez Santoyo, student of the elementary school 21 de Marzo of the Pitillal, was the first one awarded with this prize of visiting the Federal Congress, it received very positive comments from children, parents and teachers, who think that this initiative of the Federal Deputy is something very good.

“There are even children that have shared their grades and have asked me to be a Child Legislator, it is a very inspiring and motivating experience to know that there is interest from the little students in being recognized and better yet, they are interested in knowing the Deputy Chamber”, he commented.

He recalled that the experience with Sergio Alfredo and his family was very important because it convinced him to promote this program more since, sharing their time, their experiences and the learning that was personally left to him, motivated him to work double as a legislator of the Fifth District.

It should be recalled that this program is promoted with the purpose of making the children conscious of the importance of citizen participation in democracy, and has as an aim to stimulate the good students, to get them near institutions, mainly the children of sixth grade who have the best averages of the public schools of the 14 municipalities of the Fifth District.

“Education, is the key that opens the door to a better quality of life for the Mexicans, and with this the possibility to transform our country into a more prosperous nation that offers equal opportunities, that's why we want to contribute with our grain of sand, to programs that motivate their learning”, commented the Federal Deputy.

Finally, he reiterated that each month the selection of the best average of sixth grade from public schools will continue, and the prize will be to take him, together with a companion, with all expenses paid, to visit the Chamber of Deputies and the Chamber of Senators, in addition to getting an interview with some of the most prominent characters of national politics, “for me it is satisfactory to choose the Legislator Child of Ixtapa, town of my origins and where I passed a great part of my childhood”, concluded Rafa González.
