Tepic-Editorial Staff.- The state Olympiad 2014 was launched in Nayarit, with a ceremony held in the skating ring skate on wheels Nayaritan Institute of Physical Culture and Sport.

On behalf of the Governor Roberto Sandoval Castañeda, the teacher David Aguilar Estrada, director of the Institute Nayarita of Physical Culture and Sport (INCUFID), inaugurated in the state the most important event of the country, where the champions that tomorrow will represent Mexico are forged.

The event was carried out within the framework of the Skates on Wheels Nayarit Cup, which attended by athletes from the states of Jalisco, Aguascalientes and Chiapas; played the president of the association of this discipline, Carlos Resendiz, welcomed  participants, time that I take this opportunity and by the way delivered a recognition to Mike Páez Cuellar, skater of Jalisco  who has represented the country in international events.

The national and international weightlifting multi-champion from Nayarit, Gladis Bueno Placencia was in charge of the Sports Oath, while on behalf of the judges it was the foreigner David Chávez Castellanos, who came to certify the Nayarit Cup competitions.

The lighting of the cauldron corresponded to the skater José Carlos Resendiz Olivares, gold medalist in the last national Olympiad in Ensenada, Baja California.


Before representatives of the education sector, presidents of associations, coaches and athletes, in the inaugural declaration, Aguilar Estrada congratulated the parents who make an effort to accompany and support their children while inducing them to practice sports, as instructed by the governor Roberto Sandoval Castañeda to promote a society that is healthy and committed to its state and country.

With the event, the State Olympiad 2014 competitions officially begin where hundreds of children and young people, men and women struggle athletically to earn the right to represent Nayarit the next national Olympiad this year hosted in Veracruz, Jalisco, Puebla, UNAM and Mexico State
