This news was made known in a press conference by the head of the Nayaritan Institute of Physical Culture and Sport, David Aguilar Estrada, as well as by the president of the Association of Basketball in Nayarit, Arturo Pacheco Benítez, and by Enrique Alejandro Zúñiga Castro, who was the link for the realization of this activity.
“It is an important visit; it is a group of sportsmen that is standing out at an international level for its characteristics, for its origins, and is an example of getting things done. The three teams of triqui boys that will be in Nayarit will measure themselves against combined Nayaritans of the same age group of the municipalities of Tepic, Ruiz, Xalisco and Acaponeta, among others. The next day, they will travel to Banderas Bay to present themselves in the Sports Unit of San José and measure themselves against teams of the southern coast, he informed.
