Established in 1974, Nuevo Amanecer was born with a mission to support those affected by social injustice, particularly vulnerable children who were marginalized at that time. The association has since expanded its reach, assisting countless individuals not only in Mexico but also around the world. Through various centers sustained by community support, Nuevo Amanecer provides treatment for thousands of children and adults with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. Since 1990, they have been a steadfast ally of Alcoholics Anonymous, offering specialized support to combat human weaknesses such as fear, loneliness, sadness, codependency, suicidal thoughts, depression, neurosis, as well as substance abuse and any form of addiction that hinders human happiness.

Sponsor Miguel Ángel Rebollar, the founder of the "Nuevo Amanecer" movement, personally experienced alcoholism and drug addiction. Motivated by his own journey to recovery, he joined Alcoholics Anonymous, taking his first steps towards emotional sobriety. Recognizing the essence of his life lay in being of service to others, he established the organization legally in 2002, driven by the principle of selfless assistance.

Over 150,000 individuals have directly benefited from their programs, experiencing personal growth and liberation from the chains that once bound them.
