Officials say a massive fire in downtown Los Angeles closed down portions of two major freeways.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman David Ortiz says more than 250 firefighters were battling the blaze early Monday morning.The Los Angeles Times reports (http://lat.ms/1wRwTBA ) that the fire could be seen for miles.
