Promote self-employment among the inhabitants of Banderas Bay, is one of the priorities of María del Refugio Gomez de Cervantes, president of DIF system, who on Tuesday closed in communities of Bucerias, San Juan de Abajo and in the House of the Association of the Disabled in Valle de Banderas, craft workshops for making wreaths for the Dead.

The event was accompanied by the director of the White body Rib Galaviz Dinora and his team, where mothers participating seniors and young, enthusiastic to promote self-employment, happily celebrated the closing of these workshops.

Cuquita Mrs. Gomez urged the students to continue to participate in the workshops coming to perform, such as during Christmas crafts and piñatas, as pledged support to the delivery of materials as on this occasion.

The president said DIF continue to respond to requests made by the clubs for the elderly, the disabled and house groups of people, with the interest to learn a new trade and promote self-employment.

Congratulated each of the workshop participants and said not to be an easy task, since the production of crowns takes time and it takes patience, skill and desire to do it, so extended recognition to those who gave courses in each one of the communities.

He also said that there is the need to grow more and more and implement such workshops not only to commemorate the faithful departed on this special day, but also to use these skills and activities to do crafts, commercialize and bring something to their homes.

He mentioned things that can be made for Christmas, Epiphany, Day of Love and Friendship, Mexican Revolution Day, and other special dates in which people of different villages of Bahia de Banderas realize that there is a manufacturing mothers of the elderly, and thus promote self-employment.
