Director of SAEPAL Puerto Vallarta (Puerto Vallarta’s Potable Water, Drainage and Sewer System), Cesar Abarca Gutierrez, accompany by Jalisco Secretary General, Roberto Lopez Lara, made the symbolic donation of 22 new vehicles to make the work of Business, Registration, and Property Registry offices, more efficient.
This was done during his visit to SEAPAL headquarters, at which time he said that the donation will improve the services that this institution provides. “Important works were achieved in this city, in 2014, from rehabilitating water collectors, to building more potable water lines. The big challenge we now face for 2015 is to continue with the work we have started, and above all to give good quality and courteous service to the clients”, he added.
In a previous interview given before the symbolic donation event, Cesar Abarca described Roberto Lopez Lara’s visit, as a historic event for SEAPAL. Such visit is a clear demonstration of how important Puerto Vallarta and SEAPAL is to the Government of Jalisco.
It is worth mentioning that several departments will benefit and will be reinforced, with the renovation of the fleet, which includes modern equipments. An investment of more than 15,000.000 pesos (US$ 1,028,806.00) was made on this donation.
Cesar Abarca mentioned that this donation is of great asset to the organization, given the fact that more than six million pesos (about US$42,000) were spent in the year 2014 just in maintenance of old vehicles.
