006Nayarit Governor Roberto Sandoval Castaneda make the announcement that goods provided by PROSA (a government program which provides food to the needed), will be delivered from house to house, by the state workers, starting this July.

This is being done in order to make it easier on the beneficiaries; it will avoid the long lines of people waiting to get their goods at the PROSA store branches throughout the state.

“We are going to do social justice to the less fortunate people; PROSA will suffer some changes to make sure thousands of families have food on their tables. So, starting this coming June, All the PROSA stores will disappear and the Nayaritas, instead, will be receiving their goods in their own homes with the quality and courteous services of the state governor staff”, expressed the governor
.
The governor also informed that the program will be supervised to avoid duplication of services and to make sure the benefits go to the right people. Meanwhile the PROSA stores will continue to operate in the same way until June.

“We will go to the people that are in most need. Those who complained that PROSA benefits were not being distributed fairly, were very right. We were able to detect several families with up to three PROSA’s cards in their possesion”.

It is important to emphasize that the Governor informed that in the year 2015, the exchangeable points for main staples will increase from 200 to 300, and that PROSA grocery stores will no longer exist after July.
