As part of the commemoration of the 104th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution, the Nayarit Governor Roberto Sandoval Castañeda, accompanied by his wife Ana Lilia Lopez de Sandoval, as well as holders of the legislative and judicial powers, presided over the ceremony delivery of Sports 2014 State Prize.

This event was held in the Government Palace courtyard, the state governor handed the award consisting medal for the value of one hundred thousand pesos, athlete Moses Omar Rodríguez Rodríguez, for his outstanding performance in Karate-Do; Professor Edson Alberto Aguilera Navarrete, in the discipline of roller skates, and President of the Association of roller skates, Carlos Eugenio Rodríguez Reséndiz in the branch of sports promoter.

"It's a very special day, because we see everyone making Nayarit a decent place to live; youth, teachers, athletes, you who daily struggle and strive to deliver medals, to deliver a better youth and we who have the responsibility to deliver a state order, peace, and deliver a society that today demands justice", the President said.

The governor was extended recognition to all young Nayarit, to bring a message of peace and freedom in this commemoration of the Mexican Revolution; "On behalf of the Government and the People, I give them a medal of recognition, all what today we represent and lead the message to young people who are thousands more, a thousand to one, we want peace and freedom; which recognize the Army to bring our banner of social justice, honesty and honor to the homeland".

Roberto Sandoval also thanked young people who demonstrated outside the Government Palace, during the parade development of the Mexican Revolution, as they allowed the advance of quotas. thank you, also those who came today to demonstrate, thanks for letting us continue our parade; Thanks to the most valuable thing we have, which are our young people, who are few promoters of our sport; we are only there watching your future, so the spirit of triumph in Nayarit looks and lives in you", he said.

In the same context, Sandoval Castañeda acknowledged that due to the conditions of public safety, nayaritas athletes have achieved a better performance in various sports, and that allowed said, climbing from the 17th place to seventh, in a   national level.

"Because, with insecurity and violence no sport, no courts, no development, no drives, no peace, no tranquility, and when the athlete does not sleep, their performance is very low, and when terror exists and the fear where we lived, where I handed me a key and they said the state is on fire, you protest back peace and tranquility to the circumstances that today sees, and said, I protest. As of today, saying that all is well, we're the second state in the country with lower rates of violence, so we went from 17th to seventh place in the sport", he added.

Finally, the Governor called on young people to continue training in various sports to achieve better places nationwide and put up the name of the state of Nayarit.
