Workshops and seminars Vallarta - Nayarit in Colombia

During the last week of July, retinues of institutional officials and businessmen from Puerto Vallarta, with its strategic partner, Riviera Nayarit, traveled to Colombia, where conducted various workshops and seminars for the cities of Medellín, Cali, Bucaramanga and Bogota travel agents.

With the assistance of Rolando Miravete, Director of the Puerto Vallarta tourism trust; Marc Murphy, Director of the Office of Carlos Eguiarte, Coordinator of promotion of Riviera Nayarit, along with 20 operators of tourism and hotel businesses of both destinations, and Riviera Nayarit Convention and visitors provided workshops and training seminars to travel agents in different cities in Colombia on Tuesday, July 29, in the city of Medellin, in the ten Hotel category Colombiaheld a workshop for local travel agents followed by a training seminar on both destinations. These events were repeated in Marriott Hotel Cali, Wednesday July 30; Hotel Dann Carlton Bucaramanga Thursday 31 July and Friday 1 August, JW Marriott Bogotá in Bogotá.

Seminars and trainings of the destinations were in charge of Rolando Miravete by part of Puerto Vallarta and Carlos Eguiarte to Riviera Nayarit. Also spoke to those present Diego Murillo, Executive of Aeromexico and María Antonieta Ortiz Bravo, Director of operation Sales Region North of the Tourism Board of Mexico (CPTM). More than 80 travel agents participated in each call and at the end of the seminars carried out drawings of rooms of hotels and airfares in charge of Aeromexico.

Rolando Miravete, Director of the trust of tourism in Puerto Vallarta, during his stay in Colombia held interviews with various local media, in which highlighted Puerto Vallarta as one of the cities most chosen by tourists when it comes to vacation in Mexico and stressed to the destination by their tradition and culture, hospitality and charming as a people that keeps very Mexican roots.

"With these actions we strengthen our tourism relationship with Colombia," said Rolando Miravete, and continues "There is another tourist beach destination in Mexico offering a so wide variety of hotels, activities, entertainment and gastronomy to Puerto Vallarta, ´donde all sucede´, a big city with flavor to Mexican people".
