This Friday the meeting of the National Security Council will be held in Puerto Vallarta with the participation of the governors of the west of the country and the federal interior secretary, Miguel Angel Osorio Chong, as well as other major heads of state agencies and federal government ministries.
The meeting, chaired by the Secretary of the Interior, will seek to review the progress on issues that have been addressed in previous meetings and the agreements established by body members, besides analyzing the current problems in the field of national and regional security, where there are important advances.
The attendance of the governors of Jalisco and Nayarit, Aristóteles Sandoval and Roberto Sandoval is expected, as well as of the heads of some ministries, after that other meetings have been attended by the chiefs of National Defense, Attorney General of the Republic, Research Center and Navy Department.
