The PAN in Jalisco rejects the VAT to mortgages and tuition

They urge their companions in the Congress
In the next session, PAN deputies submitted a point of agreement to thoroughly analyze the proposal of the federal executive

Members of the parliamentary group of the National Action Party (PAN) in conjunction with the president of the PAN of Jalisco, Miguel Monraz Ibarra, consider it important that the proposal by the federal government on Tax Reform, is subjected to a thorough review, as they consider that it is a reform that significantly affects the economy of the people.
Among the points raised as part of the proposal are: increase in the income tax, VAT on tuition, rent and purchase of houses.
The president of the Economic Development Committee in the Congress, deputy, Juan Jose Cuevas García, said that there has been no economic development in Jalisco nor in Mexico. He mentioned that there is an economic downturn in the country that is serious, and this reform that will be carried out will significantly affect the economy of each person in Jalisco and in Mexico.
He made a call for: "No more tax burdens on the captive taxpayer", he also said that it is not possible that both the president of Mexico and the secretaries are touring the country to ensure that the reform is passed, currently the work is up to the lawmakers to decide whether or not to approve it.
He expressed his refusal to collect taxes on mortgages because it hits hard on the people who have the least and and work the most. No to the removal of the fuel subsidy because fuel will soon become much more expensive. No to the deficit which may lead us to a debt. No to the collection of VAT on tuition, which is a throwback, EPN is wrong if he thinks that all who go to private schools are rich.
Likewise he made a call to the government of the state to be on the side of the people of Jalisco and not of its party, he stressed that it is important to make an analysis, review and approval of the proposal.
He said that it affects middle-class workers. Inflicting additional levies that are unjust and inefficient. It hurts the growth potential of the economy. And furthermore it seeks to obtain most of its resources through funding, indebting the people.
He recalled that during the PAN administrations the federal borrowing times prompted by the PRI were left behind and now we are back to those times with these types of reforms proposed by the federal government.
He also said that far from being a tax reform it is a miscellaneous tax. It would seem as if the PRI seeks to obtain resources for 2015 at the expense of Mexicans, stopping the generation of wealth and jobs.
In the case of the maquiladora industry, "now they intend to implement a VAT to the maquiladora sector, which presently accounts for two million three hundred thousand direct jobs in Mexico and nearly eight million jobs considering the direct and indirect jobs."
