federal-budgetTo receive budget resources

The federal Deputy Rafael González participates in the third plenary meeting of legislators of the PRI and the Partido Verde, in which they refine their positions in common

In the framework of the third plenary meeting of the parliamentary faction of the PRI and the Partido Verde that will be held on Monday and Tuesday in the House of Representatives, the federal deputy, Rafael Gonzalez reported that it is time that the mayors of the region prepare their executive projects to access resources of the Federation budget for next year.

He said that without these resources, it is more difficult to attract resources for municipalities, as they depend only on the plans of the federal government for the region. So far one of the priorities is to improve highway 200 between the towns of Puerto Vallarta and Tomatlán.

He explained in an interview that the meeting aims to organize legislative work so that the federal MPs from both parties do their jobs with efficiency, "the work is to expedite the extraordinary period we have agreed for August, besides working on the agenda scheduled for regular session which begins on September 1."

The legislator also noted that this legislative agenda is coordinated with fellow PRI senators, in the voice of its coordinator Emilio Gamboa, and the operations of the party president César Camacho Quiroz; the Secretaries of the Interior, Miguel Angel Osorio Chong; of Finance Luis Videgaray Caso; Energy, Pedro Joaquín Coldwell, and the CEO of Pemex, Emilio Lozoya Austin.

"In Congress, we will have special sessions with the aim of working for the extraordinary period, in the bill that amends and supplements a number of articles of the Constitution in terms of transparency", said Rep. Rafael González.

The lawmaker said that the parliamentary agreement is expected to be ratified to grant full autonomy to the IFAI, observing the principle of maximum disclosure to all public authorities of the three levels of government including political parties and trade unions that receive public funds and establish the unassailable, bonding and final character of the decisions of the agency that is guarantor to the access of public information.

Rafael Gonzalez reiterated that the PRI federal deputies will also focus their work on discussing and approving secondary reforms in education relative to the National Institute for the Evaluation of Education, the Teacher Professional Service and various provisions of the General Law of Education.

He added that in the ordinary period, they will focus on discussing the reform proposals on energy and in processing the 2014 economic package, which will be accompanied by the tax reform and later, by the discussion of the corresponding secondary reforms to the constitutional reform of telecommunications and antitrust.
