Coming soon to the Malecon of Marina Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta is renowned for its great gastronomic diversity and the varied offer of national and international wines to pair the most exquisite dishes in the destination; in this context and within the framework of the 500th anniversary of the arrival of wine to our country, the first edition of Vinoma Fest will take place from March 17th to 20th, a festival of flavors that will exalt this renowned beverage. This festival will be unique in its kind, since besides gathering more than 40 wineries and around 200 Mexican labels, it will present a selection of 15 select gastronomic proposals from restaurants in Puerto Vallarta, which together with renowned chefs and sommeliers will make the best pairing suggestions for each one of the participating wines.

It is important to highlight that there will also be an educational congress under the name of "The Land of the New World", which will gather professionals of the industry, such as oenologists, sommeliers, winemakers and agronomists, who will share with students, workers of the hospitality and gastronomy industry, as well as wine lovers, a series of conferences, talks, panels and specialized workshops focused on the pairing of cuisine and wine. Vinoma Fest will be held at the Puerto Vallarta Marina Boardwalk, considered one of the most exclusive areas of the destination and will have free access for all visitors. On the other hand, the educational congress will be held at the facilities of the Gourmet Station of the University of Guadalajara, located at the Ignacio Jacobo Regional High School in Puerto Vallarta.

PROGRAM The program begins on Thursday, March 17 with the opening ceremony. The following day, March 18, the training congress will start at 9:00 a.m. and at 8:00 p.m. the gala dinner will be held under the title: "The Wine Regions of Mexico". On Saturday, March 19, the workshops will be called: "Paladares a la obra", which will be 100% practical cooking and pairing, and then enjoy 2 days of verbena. On the same day and Sunday March 20, starting at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, all wine lovers will be able to taste the best labels of the country and the best culinary art of the city, as well as enjoy musical shows during the event. Puerto Vallarta has become a national and international reference for the realization of high-level gastronomic encounters, so Vinoma Fest adds to the extensive offer of culinary experiences for travelers who decide every year to visit the green pearl of the Mexican Pacific.
